The "90's" pictures are made with Indian ink on Schoellershammer 200g paper and colorized digitally.

The "Fairy" pictures are made with Indian ink and watercolor on Daler Rowney 300g paper.

Standard size for all original drawings is: 4.9inches x 6.9inches (12,5cm x 17,5cm).

Standard size for all printed cards is: A6 (3.9inch x 5.5inch) or A5 folded.

Each and every order will be given specific care and professional handling

how to order

It's pretty simple!

Fill in the order form. You'll be requested to choose the style, the coloring, you'll get to decribe the project, ask to receive the original art at home and more. Within 48hrs you'll receive an estimate rate and an invoice in your inbox. You'll be invited to pay the deposit (50% of the total amount).
Once the deposit is received, you'll get a first sketch in your inbox. Validate it or ask for a change (3 changes max., 10€/change).
Pay the balance, changes included if you asked for them, and get your drawing by e-mail (jpeg + PDF) and the original art by post if you asked for it (free). If you chose the "print" option, you'll get the printed cards at home the following days. Printing is carried out by Identic in Brussels.

Your project goes beyond the choices presented by the order form, for example you want a larger size

or a different style? No problem! Just contact me through info@dessinator.be and you will get a personalized estimation. Remember that anything is possible, images for flyers, logos, T-shirts...

Some advice

1. Share your ideas! Describe your project as thoroughly as you can. Use your imagination!

What colors would you like for the background, the characters, the lettering? Don't miss important details such as a pendant, jewelry, a mole, hair color and texture, a particular gesture (Granpa skratches his ear, Baby's learning to walk and is having a hard time with balance!). If you can't find any ideas, don't panic! Just tell me and we'll think of something together!

2. You want me to depict one of you? Don't hesitate to send me photos using the upload button in the form. My characters are all outlined using the same basic model but I can give them specific features to portray each one of you.

3. About folded cards with text: In the form, describe your preferences for the text. You can write in the language of your choosing. Every language is, of course, accepted. All cards are designed using the templates below, but you can customize them. I suggest no more than 4 pictures, so as not to overload the layout.

4. Anticipate your deadline by placing your order at least 1 month prior to your event, thus you'll be sure to get your order on time.

5. Printing services are only provided for orders of 20 copies or more. On this site, the choice of paper and format is limited. If you have a specific request concerning printing, don't hesitate to go directly to the printing service of your choosing. Simply hand them the PDF document provided by the Dessinator. I personnaly recommend printing at Identic, Brussels, you'll get great quality rendering, good prices, a wide choice of paper, delivery on time and a pleasant communication.

6. Please visit those suppliers for you envelopes:

There you'll find a wide range of color and format. For your A6 cards, please select the C6 (11,4cm x 16,2cm) envelop format. For your A5 cards, please select the C5 (16,2cm x 22,9cm) envelop format.
